Dear colleagues and friends,
On behalf of the organizers and the Scientific Committee, it is our great pleasure to invite you to join us on April 13-15, 2023 in Barcelona, Spain for the XVI EBMWG International Bone Marrow Course and Workshop.
The topic for this edition will be “Impact of genetic alterations on the classification of bone marrow myeloid and lymphoid neoplams”. Our scientific program, that we are sure will be of interest for hematopathologists, general pathologists and hematologists from around the world, will include lecture sessions, workshops and an independent basic course in the morning of the first day focused on basic approach to bone marrow pathology.
We encourage our attendees to submit their cases to be discussed during the workshops. The goal of the workshops is to examine diagnostically challenging cases of SM with an associated myeloid neoplasm, MPN, MDS/MPN, MDS and bone marrow small B-cell LPD in which genetic/molecular analysis brought diagnostic clues to classification.
The backdrop of the beautiful and historic city of Barcelona will add to the pleasure of the meeting and provide lasting memories beyond science.
Attendees will also have the possibility to take part in the course virtually (hybrid meeting).
We’re looking forward to an excellent meeting that will bring together worldwide renowned international experts to present the latest developments in bone marrow hematopathology and will give us the opportunity to renew friendships and extend our networks, and jointly explore current and future research directions.
